From Athlete to Doctor

I didn’t just stumble into chiropractic; I relied on it. Growing up, I was a three-sport athlete juggling soccer, baseball, and a competitive wrestling career. I quickly learned that to perform at my maximum potential on the mat, my body—and specifically my nervous system—had to be functioning optimally. Regular adjustments didn’t just keep me out of pain; they kept me in the game. That experience sparked a fascination with the human body, leading me to Carroll University for Kinesiology and, eventually, to Northwestern Health Sciences University for my chiropractic training. After co-founding and running a successful practice for seven years, I launched Advantage Health Center in 2024. My goal was to create a clinic dedicated solely to neurologically based care and the Torque Release Technique.

Why I Chose Torque Release Technique (TRT)

While I began my career focused on sports performance, I realized that true health goes beyond muscles and joints. Since receiving my Doctorate in 2018, I have pursued advanced training in the Torque Release Technique (TRT). TRT allows me to be incredibly specific with adjustments, addressing neurological interference without the aggressive twisting or “cracking” that makes some patients nervous. It is a precise and gentle method for managing complex conditions like neuropathy and sciatica. By focusing on the spine’s relationship with the nervous system, we provide a foundation for long-term wellness rather than just temporary symptom relief.

Outside the Office

When I’m not at the clinic, I am usually enjoying the outdoors of the Chippewa Valley with my wife, Katie, our daughter, Amelia, and our puppy, Bella. We are an active family—whether we are hiking to waterfalls, catching fish on the lake, or spending time in a tree stand during hunting season. You might also catch us on the softball field or simply enjoying a family vacation. I live the lifestyle I preach: staying active, staying adjusted, and enjoying life to the fullest.
